It's strawberry time! We picked over 34 pounds of organic berries this weekend in the slight drizzle of another rain-soaked June day. The Thompson-Finch Farm in Ancram, NY, is a beautiful certified organic fruit farm with the most well-tended beds I have ever seen. It is also one of the few organic pick-your-own farms in the region. The farmers and their staff are a bit gruff, but the great fruit is well worth the journey to this magical strawberry farm.
