Jam class at Brooklyn Kitchen June 23rd!

We're teaching a jam class at the Brooklyn Kitchen--the raddest cookery spot in Brooklyn! Come learn the art of the jar and make some mean-ass jam with us:

Laena & Liv of Anarchy in a Jar will show you how to take advantage of your victory garden (or local CSA or farmer's market) and make delicious homemade jam in this hands on class. June is strawberry season, and we'll come armed with local, fresh picked organic strawberries to preserve. This class will teach you the time-honored tools and tricks to preserve summer in a jar. Every participant will make a jar of their own organic strawberry jam to take home.

The class will be at 6:30 PM at the store, 616 Lorimer St. Sign up starts later in May, go to Brooklyn Kitchen to reserve a spot.

Jam on.
