It's blood orange season and a rosy batch of blood orange marmalade with meyer lemon zest is cooling on the counter! Nothing better to cure the winter blues than some tart, colorful marmalade. How to eat Anarchy marmalade: Serve on fresh baguette, Ginger Love Scones (see below), or as Jammstar C-Lion suggests, on rye toast with a friend egg on top!
Our jams, jellies & preserves are seasonal and made to order. Price depends upon quantity ordered. Email anarchyinajar@gmail.com to place an order. If you live in Brooklyn, we offer eco-delivery via our bike service Traffic Jam.

About the Ladies of Anarchy in a Jar
Laena McCarthy and Livia Manfredi make jam, jellies and preserves in their Brooklyn kitchen. From opposite coasts, Laena learned the art of jam making in upstate New York from her mother, while Liv learned about great cuisine and wine in Napa Valley, California. After traveling around the world and living in Antarctica, Laena ended up back in New York, being a librarian and making jam, while Liv landed here professing the arts of the vine. They ended up in New York City at an opportune time, when there is a revived demand for fresh, local, creative food. Together they stir their varied experiences into the elixirs of the jar.
